Hello, I promise I've searched Google for answers but got nothing. My family recently rescued a little lop from a neighbors basement. He's started peeing everywhere and 'honking' (more like running in circles and screaming) whenever I come over to sit with him. My working theory is that he is just so happy to see someone and get contact that he pees like a dog.
How can I discourage the peeing while still giving him the attention he needs? Any advice needed, I'm good at dogs and fish but this is first small mammal that actively wants my attention.
