I know what people are gonna say. Oh no my lobster is too juicy, my steak is too buttery.
My family rescued a bunny a few days ago. Someone posted in our local Facebook group that a bunny was in their garden and had been there for several days, it was storming out, they couldn't bring it in as they had cats. Nobody came forward (and still hasn't, despite making our contact details public and asking around), so it looks like we're keeping it. I think she was dumped, given it's so close to Easter.
Yesterday, my soul bunny died under anaesthesia after a battle with cancer. My heart is so totally broken and I can't help but interpret the appearance of this nutter of a rabbit into my life at the time that she did as a sign, though I'm not spiritual usually.
ANYWAY back to the title of the post. This rabbit is astonishingly friendly and also totally nuts. She (I think) has not stopped binkying and having the zoomies for the last 4 days. She's launching herself at such speeds she's running into walls and bonking her head on stuff, knocking her water bowl over, etc. Her temporary pen has expanded every day we've had her until today where she was given free access to the living room, which is already bunny proofed. TLDR: my rescue bunny is binkying so much she's hurting herself 😠what do you even do in this situation
(on a secondary note, could anyone possibly provide a breed ID? or an age guesstimate? my guess is she's a very young new zealand white, but my last bunnies were minilops who were half her size full grown)
