I would probably just keep the existing name, but if you do switch I’d go to Timmy! (From Tina to Timmy Turner.) I keep calling mine a boy and waiting for the moment I find out he’s a girl at the vet lol.

Tina can be a fine name for boy. Bunnies don’t care so much about their name as they do a constant treat bag

Timmy!

Tina is good!
But if you want to change it,
Timmy or Martin might carry some of the same energy

Keep his name Tina, but call him Timmy Tina legally

I love Mr. Tina’s ears!!! Honestly I would probably keep the name the same but you could always swap to timmy or something similar. Especially if he knows his name it might just take some time

This happened to Amy Sedaris too! Tina is a fine name for a boy bun ☺️

Keep Tina. I had the reverse happen with an Edward and we kept her name the same. I also suggest Tiny Tina as I’m a sucker for ironic rabbit names.

The comedian Amy Sedaris had a pet rabbit named Tina that she also learned was actually a boy, she ended up keeping the name Tina. Her Tina even kind of looked like your Tina. That’s a crazy coincidence!

It’s 2026 she can stay Tina if she wants to

Tina /toni the trans rabbit. I had a trans cat once. Thought tiger was a he turns out when kittens appeared he was a she… good thing I got my bunny right. I know he’s a he lol. He’s been neutered. I hope no one is offended how I told my story I have a trans daughter and well she and the cat came out together lol

I think Tiny would be funny. Since he’s so big. And it’s close to Tina and could be for a boy or girl

Our first bunny was named Frodo… she was white with ginger markings. She came from my best friends’s litter and already had her name when I adopted her. The whole litter got LOTR names lol. And I wasn’t mad at all. I wasn’t even mad when we figured out she wasn’t a he. And we kept her name. I just called her Frodo Girl.
Our second bunny, a rescue who showed up in my front lawn one day, who, this week we celebrate his 10 year gotcha day, we called Bilbo because he was going to be bonded with Frodo and we kept the names in suit. Bilbo was and still as a boy so that worked out perfectly.
Sadly, Frodo passed away while they were bonding. And then a little over a year later another rabbit showed up across the street that looked exactly like Bilbo! It was meant to be.
We tried all kinds of names for her, but nothing was sticking and nothing felt right. We kept calling her “not Bilbo“ whenever we referred to her. She literally looked just like him. Must’ve been from the same litter or family in the neighborhood. One day it struck me that we should just call her Nottie…. And it’s stuck and that was her name.
Bilbo is still with us and now we call him “the ancient one”. We don’t know his true age because he just showed up one day in January, starving, and all bones, trying to eat the dormant grass in our front garden. He shares his roost with three cats now, all of them were literally born right in front of his hutch. That’s where their mom chose to have her babies. That’s trust.
Anyway, I’m waffling. It’s up to you whether you keep or change the name. If it feels right, maybe keep it. You could add “Mr.” in front if you want to, lol!

Tina in *Bob’s Burgers* is voiced by a male! FWIW.

Bit unrelated, but my bunny chewed himself out of a box like yours 🤣

Keep Tina. And when it’s dinner time, say *”Tina, you fat lard, come get some DINNER!… Tina, eat. Food. Eat the FOOD!”*

Tina made me think of bobs burgers and how originally Tina’s character was supposed to be the eldest son but became the eldest daughter after they redid the pilot! Tina is voiced by a male voice actor^

This happened to us as well. Lol. My daughter took him to the vet and said, “i think something is wrong with her vagina.” The vet said, “I’d say so, these are testicles!”

Keep the name!
My boys (or rather old men at about 12) are named Emma and Sissi.
We had the names before we got the rabbits and decided that they won’t mind anyways.
