Hi all. I lost my little Lady on Saturday. It is the single worst pain I’ve ever experienced in my life and her mate, Tramp, is sad. If you check my post history, he’s being supported in every way possible and getting him a new companion in a month or so isn’t off the table.
Today we got Lady’s ashes back along with some of her fur…my question is, does anyone have experience with this kind of thing? Like, would giving Tramp some of it help or do we think it would hurt? Has anyone whose bunny lost a mate given them some of the mate’s fur? And where did you put it? On a pillow? In the collar of one of their stuffies? Did it bring them comfort or did it make the grieving worse?
