She seems to have this fascination with licking the fur on her chest / under her chin. It's absolutely adorable just wondering if any other bunny has the same tendancies.
It looks like they are just grooming! Expecially around this time of the year as new coats come in they can do that, the chest is probably the hardest part of them to brush so often they try to pick up the slack, if they are continually doing this I would try to brush it yourself so you don’t have to worry about a blockage but nothing here is concerning behavior

How old is she and is she fixed? Looks like she’s pulling fur from her dewlap to make a nest.

I have a foster bun that’s fuzzy under the chin and she does the exact same thing. Just grooming, nothing to worry about. It’s cute 🙂

They can sometimes get water that drops into that area after drinking. Cleaning it is good as it dries and fluffs the fur. Always keep an eye on that especially for girls as if it does get trapped next to the skin it can prove to be problematic and cause skin breakdown which will need attention.
Yup. Mine has a massive dew lap and just can’t get that spot when grooming.

Also get her a carpet! She needs somewhere to sit properly so she can groom

I love her and I would burn the world for her.

My lionhead will get some juice from fruit treats in his mane, so will sit there licking his chest to get more of the taste lol

My girl does this as a nervous habit. She’s been checked multiple times and there is nothing physically wrong. That being said some do it if they have an infection or tooth issue leading to abcess, so always good to have a look.

Duck kinda does this. He’s a double-maned lionhead, so he has long fur everywhere. He’ll go to groom himself and get the fur caught in his mouth and he has to pull his head back to get for enough away to pull it out. Reminds me of that video of the cat licking the girl’s hair and struggling to get it off it’s tongue

She’s trying to groom her dewlap and not getting a good enough grip lol 😆

Mine did this and caused some dreads and things. Help them keep it clean. Mine stopped focusing on it so much when we got her a friend

My bunny has chewed on her dewlap since she was little. She does it as a stress response however, so any time she’s being held, groomed by me, etc. It’s her fight or flight tic 🥲 She’s a goofball.
