I definitely don’t want to romanticize this and wouldn’t recommend rabbits as pets for most young children BUT when it works, it can be wonderful. Under my supervision, my two boys are responsible for most of our sweet Peaches daily care. My kids have no desire to pick her up (or any animal as a matter of fact since they know that most animals dislike this). She is a cage free bunny who we adore and she clearly goes out of her way to be around the kids which melts my heart 🥹
