So I just got this little one today! He is only a couple weeks old (I don’t remember exactly how many though), I got him as a late birthday gift! I’ve been begging for a holland lop bunny and I finally got him, I named Pepper because I thought it was cute!! So I’ve NEVER had a bunny before, I did have one when I was REALLY young but I don’t remember much about them because I was like 5-7, so anyway, I want to learn how to bond with him!! :3
I’ve researched and people said to hand feed them, but while he lets me pick him up and pet him, he gets scared when I try to hand feed him, what I mean by that is was gonna feed him and he was ABOUT to eat it from my hand but I think I held on too tight and he just let go and didn’t want to eat from my hand afterward, but he likes eating from a bowl so that’s good (yes, he has hay in his pen don’t worry!!) I’ve also seen lots of people say their bunnies bit them, but he isn’t a biter, like at ALL, hopefully that’s a good thing though but I’ll still include it in case it’s something important, he wanders around a bit but mostly keeps himself in his pen.
I heard bunnies poop while they eat, but sadly silly lil guy has been pooping on my floor and inside his pen, so if you have tips for that please tell me!!
