This is my sweet blue-eyed boy, Ralph. He’ll be 6 in July (he’s adopted so dates are approximate) and has arthritis. I’m trying all manner of different things to make him comfortable in his golden years and whilst we have really bonded over the last couple years, I can’t help but think I’m not doing enough ❤️🩹
I think it’s a common feeling amongst pet owners when caring for a much loved animal who requires additional support as they get older. Not necessarily looking for advice because he’s already under care by my vet with pain meds, daily joint supplements, lovely padded home to support his legs and regular hygiene checks/cleans when he does have inevitable accidents. He’s still very much himself and forever in love with his bun-wife, Rosie, just a little slower nowadays.
If anything, please just tell me how handsome he is 🥹
