So Ozzy has not been eating his hay, over the last week or so … he's been eating his veggies, pellets, and home-made hay-based treats without issue.
We've been to our vet, who is a rabbit specialist, and there is no inflammation in the gums or other visible tooth issues,, no evidence of GI stasis, or other intestinal issues.
He's been put on metacam for pain relief (in case of possible tooth issues) and is still not eating his hay.
So my question is, has anyone else experienced this? We recently ran out of his favorite hay, and we're wondering if it's possible he's suddenly become picky, and if anyone has had aimilar experiences?
Ozzy appreciates any feedback!
