You remember Kevin we rescued, the little guy with the overgrown incisors and massive spikes on his back teeth? Well, we also took in the 3 females – Edith, Edna and Esme. Unfortunately their teeth are bad/worse than poor Kevinβs π
(Photos in cages/hutches are BEFORE we rescued them)
Esme was unable to eat solid foods, so we knew her teeth werenβt likely to be great but actually they are horrific. 3 molars fell out when our vet so much as touched them. Weβll need to see how Esme responds to her dental work and monitor what quality of life she has.
Edna and Edith both have terrible teeth, too.
3 sets of X-rays, 3 dental surgeries and 3 vaccines so far have cost well over a Β£1,000, they will undeniably need more dental work and spaying and arenβt likely going to be rabbits we will ever be able to rehome π£
