Last year, I went and rescued Perry from a very neglectful situation. I think he was the offspring of sibling rabbits as well and the ex owner told me they had not even named him, despite having him for 2 years.
He tried to die at the exotic vets, had worms and coccidiosis, and possible neurological issues.
When he was well enough, I started to foster him, and then adopted him. He passed away last night in my arms while I was calling the exotic vets again. I'd taken him to the rabbit friendly (but not fully trained in rabbits) vet the night before as his behaviour seemed off.
I love you Perry and I am so so sorry I couldn't give you longer to actually be a bunny and live with other bunnies who you loved. Pic is Perry liying on a bun called Almond, while they were at the bonders. He was only 3 years old.
Give your buns some love for me. I am trying to give my other buns lots of love but struggling. They seem fine.
