this little genius just loves scooping out all of the contents of her litter box. she has two. the outside-of-the-cage one is for potty. this one is just for digging.
I checked in with my HRS after she settled in, with a picture of her slumped out in a nearly-empty pan. the adoption coordinator advised me to top off the litter. I explained that this was a personal choice on Chamomile's part, she has plenty of hay, and her potty habits are immaculate.
she has plenty of other enrichment. lots of barely-used dental toys, throw toys (you may notice the pink cotton teddy bear that she buried 💀), three well-socialized kitty friends, and she even has bowls that are small and light enough to throw around so she can ring her own dinner bell. she even does so with some accuracy! she just fails to recognize that the digging spot isn't getting any deeper.
all she likes to do is dig and run. she's a champ when it comes to eating her hay and herb stems, so her teeth are itty-bitty. just an all-natural playtime bunny.
