We have two rabbits Ellie (2yr red eyed white lab rabbit rescue) and Henry (10yr old man). Ellie will go in to multi day moods where she’ll repeatedly kick out her nest. What you see above is the worst I’ve seen. She’ll do this with fresh nests or any nest…. It doesn’t matter. Both rabbits are fixed, and nothing about their routine has changed. I’m just so tired of this behavior. It’s 4+ times a day, and we need her to stop this because it ‘wastes’ hay & bedding, exposes the floor of the nest so Henry may fall/get stuck, and more.
My wife volunteers at a rabbit rescue, and she is even at a loss of words on what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
