My girl is currently going through GI Stasis. We got some Novalgin and Lactulose sirup to give her every few hours and the vet said that if she doesn’t eat within 3h of the first dose we should give her critical care. She has been nibbling on a treat and cardboard but not enough to count it as eating so I’m planning to force feed her except she is a big fighter and will spit out the thick consistency it’s supposed to have. I’m wondering if I can just make it more watery? Or does anyone have any tricks? The banana mix doesn’t work for her. She just fights and spits it out.
