Rabbit

When will landlords get the memo than non dangerous pets (and not a stepping hazard) should not be caged

Not necessarily activism, but I have been running into increased push back from apartment complexes and rental units about rabbits. I learned, unfortunately after paying the application fee, that pet friendly is not the same as rabbit friendly. So i have been calling and texting property management companies about their pet policy details.

I was going to include direct screenshots because i was told “we do not accept farm animals” and “are they kept in a cage” but the property management agreed that litter trained free range rabbits are ok and i dont want to put my foot in my mouth.

But for every other property management company, it really sucks that they have these arbitrary lines of what is a pet and what is not. I wouldnt give up my rabbits for the world, but i understand how some people are faced with homelessness or stubbornly keeping their animals.

It really sucks and i hope this works out.
