Hi my bunny got diagnosed with e cuniculi yesterday (2/22). I got the medicine for her to treat it but I was wondering what your guys’s experience has been with recovery/treatment? I added a picture of her so you guys can get an idea of what her situation is like.
I woke up to her having collapsed on sunday and she’s eating and drinking well but she’s completely lateral. She had one seizure yesterday which was followed by a vertical nystagmus, it’s not visible anymore but was for a few hours after the fact. She can roll but only when she uses the bathroom almost like her rolling is a tic/uncontrollable movement from trying to pee or have a bm. She has sat up a couple times on her stomach but only for a short period and her head was still completely tilted. she’s about 5.5 years old but was abandoned until I rescued her in August so her medical history is unknown. Her breed is also unknown. When I brought her to the vet yesterday she was underweight (i’ve struggled to keep weight on her since I got her) and I can tell she’s skinner compared to yesterday.
I guess my big question is when did you know to continue with treatment/what did that look like and when to euthanize?
