Kinoko (the brown holland lop trauma from bonding attempts with other rabbits in the shelter that I wasn't initially aware of and she bit Kuro (black lionhead/rex mix) hard enough to make him bleed. Since then they've always fought, even through cages and despite many bonding attempts. But I decided to give bonding one more try and two months in, we have reached this stage.
This is them in neutral territory, but on steady ground (instead of in the bathtub) and without interference from me although I'm still in the room.
I'm honestly not sure what the next stage will be, but I'm in no rush to undo any progress.
