hey there, on today of all days (my birthday) my little guy has decided it was his time to cross over the rainbow bridge 🙁 i’m absolutely devastated obviously.
he was a little over 8 years old; so is his bunwife. theyve been a bonded pair for 6 years. 😭
i was able to take his mate to see the body for about a half hour, and I think she understood he was gone (he had been sick with kidney disease for a while so I think she knew). But I read that they should be left for 3+ hours to fully process it. I’m concerned that she didn’t have enough time and may become stressed/depressed and die.
is there anything more I can do for her to feel loved in this time? I feel so awful. Pics of my sweet babies for cuteness.
