So I had to brush my girlies today, because their fur looks worse and worse by the day (at least in my opinion). When I was brushing her, she was bribed with treats to make it up to her. She seemed fine. Then after I put her into her pen again, she was lying down for a short time near her house (probably because it's stressful either way) and her sister started humping her (because she smelled like me?). Then I took her sister to brush her, too.
She cleaned herself during that time and ate a bit. After her sister returned she started cleaning her sister a bit. Then she was floping like this, looking sleepy. I was like 50cm away from her on the floor. I don't think she is scared? Does she hate me now? 🙁
I read the guide to bunny behaviour, but still am unsure about many of those things. I feel like I am always the "bad guy", doing stuff like nail clipping and brushing them. My son and husband are very loved and allowed to cuddle with them, but it seems like they started to hate me after being rebonded…
I feed them, take care of them and try to make everything right. It just stings a bit that they prefer the other humans in this house.. 🙁
