so, I got home from my night class and realized my bunny was hiding in the corner of my bed. I figured she was just scared because it is thunderstorming and very loud. I got her dinner together (some carrots and romaine) and when I came back to feed her I noticed she was bleeding. I started freaking out and called my husband. She had a piece of hay stuck in the corner of her eye, unsure of where it was bleeding from though. He got home a few mins later and with his help we were able to get the piece of hay out. She's acting fine, her eye is very irritated as you can see and red but the bleeding did stop. She's eating as normal and doesn't seem off balance or any perception issues with visions. We called emergency vet, but unfortunately the closest 24hr ER is about an hour away from us and all the roads near our house are flooded so we cannot safely leave at the moment. I am going to take her to our local exotic vet office when they open at 8am, but until then is there anything I can do to help her? I am so worried and this is my baby, I don't want her to be in pain and I don't know what else to do with the conditions we are in. Thanks in advance for any advice!
