Hi! I’m thinking of getting a friend for my 5 year old (spayed) female bun. I’ve had her since she was 5 months old and she’s been a single bun ever since. I work from home so she gets a lot of love but recently I was wondering if she could use a friend. However I’m worried about the time and space commitment that takes. I live in an average sized apartment and she has a pretty decent sized enclosure (she’s free roam except at night so it’s mostly just a home base). But i also work and do school so i worry about what introducing another bunny would look like
Is there any advice on bonding bunnies. Is it worth it at her age? And if so how long/involved was the bonding process. How much space did you need for both rabbits while and after the bonding process?
