We are tagged in requests to help frequently and as a foster based and almost entirely self funded rescue, we are limited on what we can do. We are one of only a few bunny rescues still open for intakes in our area (all of southern California – recently expanded to Centralia, WA as well) and we do our best to provide support to rescues across the U.S. as well as to our local community in general.
Our rescue is small and we are not always able to react quickly when we are called to help. Less and less, these days.
In order for us to be effective in situations like these, we have to be prepared with supplies, funds, and fosters ready at the sidelines; currently, we are at capacity, doing all we can to best support the beautiful network of buns that we already have.
So many amazing fosters and adopters have stepped forward and chosen to work with our rescue, and other amazing people have chosen to donate and support us; for this, we are so grateful.
Please, can you step up as well? We need FOSTERS, ADOPTERS, SUPPORTERS, and DONATERS!!!! In Southern California – anywhere! – and anywhere around Centralia, WA as well.
We provide all supplies, and cover all costs. Wherever it's needed, we will help transport. We're also here during the lifetime of the bunny or bunnies (and after) to help with any questions or needs around bunny care.
It breaks our hearts to have so little time to respond to cases like this where we are so unprepared to help. We want to change that in the future and be able to support the bunny community more effectively, and we can do that only with your help.
