Hi, I am the artist/bun owner Numina Lucy and as some know, I’ve been building a hand-drawn game where you play as an orphaned pet bunny on a dangerous tropical island in Ryukyu, called “When All Things End”.
Bunnies are one of the most misunderstood pets in the world, and it costs them their lives. I want this game to change that.
While the game has many fantastical elements, my goal is active harm reduction, and proper education on bun care, and I will achieve this by including it in my game properly.. not just as supplementary material, but as actual mechanics. Stress management, dietary needs, dispelling of myths and misinformation, i want your suggestions and advice. What behaviors to include? What myths to dispel?
I learned how to take care of my bunnies, Cocoa and Toast, from communities like this one, and they have happy lives as a result. I can’t think of any way better to thank you all, other than to actually hear you, and follow and forward your advice. I will do my level best to include the usernames of commenters in the game credits, along with a credit to the entire r/bunnies community as well. I will keep you all posted with periodic updates, not to advertise, but to ensure education is on par and accurate.
I think we can make it so that anybody that falls in love with bunnies through this game actually knows how to give them a happy, cozy and long life. Thank you for your consideration yes yes.
