Hey guys so im needing some advice. My bunny (F 7) was diagnosed with E cuniculi a year and a half ago after she got a cataract in her left eye. She was treated almost immediately with panacur and her symptoms stopped. She was the second bun i got so she has never been alone. She bonded instantly to my first bun M and tolerated my 3rd bun F. Unfortunately 2 years ago I lost my first bun and this past September I lost the 3rd one I had gotten. She is now alone for the first time in her life. I have noticed she has been wanting lot of head rubs and my attention. I obviously know its from her being alone. She is 100% acting ok and isnt acting sad. Im just wondering what it would look like if I got another one so she wouldnt be alone. im also planning to be gone in NYC twice later in the year and this would be her first time alone for that long. Im afraid of her spreading her e cuniculi to the new bunny or it coming back in her. I know it has to do with stress and when she lost her sister nothing happened in that area. It would also calm my own anxiety down to know she wasnt alone while im at work. I asked my vet and she said it was up to me basically. I just want to hear from others and see what stories they have. thanks in advance
