This is my bunny. She's about 4 years old, I've had her since she was a couple of months old (2-4 months), and she and her sister whom she lives alongside have both been neutered. She won't tolerate being picked up AT ALL. She has always been like this since the very first day we brought her home.
She'll run around stomping when we try to pick her up, and even if we manage to get a hold of her she'll squirm violently the entire time. She never shows fear when she's just on the ground, in fact she's an absolute sweetie. A lot of the time if we had to transport her we just used a cat carrier, but she still got scared of it.
Note that she's not downright aggressive and she has NEVER bitten or tried to bite me, although when I picked her up from the vet after she got neutered they did ask me about that. Apparently she was screaming and it took more than two people to restrain her. I don't know if she bit them or not, I assume they would've said so if she did? Also the very first vet we took her to dropped her onto the floor while checking her gender.
It's been tolerable behaviour before, but it's becoming difficult to cut her nails now due to it, and her stomping around whenever we try to move her is probably stressful for both her sister and herself. Is this behavior something I can somehow help dampen, or is it just how she is? Thanks for reading, help is appreciated.
