Almost two years ago we found out she had pretty severe arthritis at 8 years old. 27 days ago she turned 10 years old and in 17 days we are saying goodbye.
She is pretty much on the max dose for her medications and she is still in a lot of pain. Her vet said “Would you rather end on a good day or a bad day?” I told her I couldn’t wait until she couldn’t walk and just sits in the corner all day in pain.
I am taking three extra weeks so I could say goodbye but I think she is ready.
I’ll miss you Ms. Lola.
