Blue is getting spayed on Friday and I'm going to prepare a room for her while she's gone. This room will become her free roam bun room. Her room is attached to our bedroom, which is an open rec room basically, so she'll have that space to roam when she's healed. She's currently downstairs in a pen overnight and roams when we can supervise her until she is spayed.
What I'm questioning is if too much space is a problem for when she comes home and is sore/needs to recover. I'd be happy to set her current pen up in the room if it would be better for her healing process.
Also wondering…
I'm wanting to move her up to her own room for more space and quiet peace from the dogs/cats/kids, but should I move her up there before the surgery so she is somewhat familiar with the area? Or should she come back to her pen she is living in now and stay downstairs in the living room until she's healed?
The bun room probably won't be finished until Thursday though, she will only have one night in this room before her procedure.
The stress! The agony!
Also please send happy thoughts on Friday for us!
