I just wanted to give a quick update, since I haven’t posted to this subreddit for a long time, and I used to post my buns here quite frequently. This past year has been INCREDIBLY, as both Opal and Dandy passed away due to sudden medical complications. Opal passed away last May following a bout of GI stasis (while being in the process of being treated) and I am still unsure to this day what exactly went wrong, as she seemed to have been getting better with the medication. Dandy passed this last October to reasons I am unsure of, and this was truly devastating for me, as I have had him for so long now. My bunnies have been my entire life the past 5 years, so these events impacted me heavily and it felt like my whole world came crashing down. Since their passing, I’ve been trying to heal the best I can, as well as support Kit and Pepper through this transition. Use this post as a reminder to hug your buns and love them as often as you can, cause they really are such sensitive creatures, and you never know when something bad might happen 💞💔
