Hi!! I posted here a few days ago with a video of my bunny sneezing (?) very heavily and continued to sneeze for the rest of the weekend. I was able to get her into the vet today and she has an infection 🙁 I feel so terrible she had to wait out the weekend feeling sick but with the snowstorm I wasn’t able to get her in until today. Anyways, she’s got some antibiotics and will hopefully be on the mend soon. Thank you SO much to all the people who upvoted and left comments of concern and help! It really eased this bunmom’s mind and yall were so right to take her to the vet. Stay safe and stay warm! (+obligatory bun pic)

Our bunny was squawking in November, a sort of combination sneeze and cough. We discovered he had a dental infection. Our vet doesn’t do dental surgery, so we took him 4 1/2 hours away to a vet who was a specialist in it. She said he had the worst case of dental macclusion she had ever seen, and his molars should have been extracted 2 years ago.
She wasn’t optimistic since it was such a bad case. He did get over the infection, but he stopped eating, so we had to syringe feed him 4 or 5 times a day. He wasn’t getting all the nutrients he needed.
We did get the surgery done, but it was too late. He would have been 9 years old in March, so he was a senior citizen, but I expected him to live a lot longer than that since he was a tiny bun.
