Milkshake sadly passed today at 11am hes been having a ton of problems he was born with what most people call "mega colon" that did not come up until my boyfriend had him for 6 months after adopting. Recently we noticed him losing weight and we took him to the vet 2 weeks ago to be told he might also have dental disease (which would likely also be genetic since we gave him hay and lots of toys) and has a lump under his chin from the infection. We could have gotten surgery but we were not entirely sure he would make it through it and the vet said the dental disease could come back because of it being possibly genetic. He stopped eating as much and went through alot of pain eating treats and timothy hay. We took him back again and got a blood test to then be told that he was anemic. We gave him sometime to see if there was a chance to make him feel better but he just slowly got worse so we decided to put him down and say goodbye.

I’m so sorry about your precious Milkshake!! That sounds like a lot of awful stuff to be hit with pretty quickly!! Poor baby :c
He was so beautiful. So sad to know he’s gone.
I’m so sorry for your loss. He was a beautiful fluffy bun. They are such fighters that it’s heartbreaking to have to make that call. Milkshake kinda looks like my boys too, gonna hug them tighter tonight. Binky Free, Milkshake! 🌈
