This is one of the weirdest things that has ever happened to me, but my bunny kind of just chewed on my thumb out of nowhere? He's bitten me 2 or 3 times in total, and all were accidents, but he's never done this before lol. It wasn't a nibble like he does sometimes either, like he was (still pretty gently) chewing on my finger😠I had eaten chocolate a few minutes earlier so ig I had a bit of flavor left on my thumb but damn lmao

They can’t see anything directly in front of them so they go by scent and feel.
If your fingers smell like food a bun will test it (often by a nibble or a lick) and if they confirm it tastes of food they will chomp.
It really teaches you to wash your hands. Thoroughly.
Because I have also been nibbled and realized I didn’t wash my hands.
They looked to me to be in ‘snack mode’ rather than full on ‘attack mode’
