Bought the DeWalt 6gal stealth sonic shop vac based on the recommendations of this sub- holy cow I’m so obsessed.
I have 3 wonderful bunnies, so I’ve been living with almost a carpet of hay through the whole house. The DeWalt is quieter than my regular upright vacuum & just obliterates hay & poops like nothing else.
Thank you thank you thank you all: you’ve changed my house forever! If you need a real deal rabbit vacuum, this is the one.

That is a great recommendation, but I thought this post was going to be about vacuuming a bun due to molting and was a mix of horrified and curious. I’m glad I was wrong, but that first pic of the bun tax had me on the edge of my seat, so to speak.

I got this blue rubber thing that was supposed to be for brushing my bunny but I use it for the rug and it works perfectly then I vacuum anything else. Hope this helps 🙂

I clean my entire house with a shop vac. Its the only tool that gets rabbit hair off window sills, etc. the brush attachment is my best friend for dusting.
I thought he was gonna say the shop vac got the bunny in pic 1.

I needed this post SO badly. Thank you so much. Currently on the hunt (urgent) for a shop vac that works properly! It really is the best cleaning method. But dealing with clogs etc and I’m like … Efff….. My Bissell pet handheld does better!! Thank you so so much. I love this sub. And your babies are so cute but I especially love that little scragglepoof at 1st pic. What a special bun. Ours has marl too but he is a blue eyed white, so it’s very interesting to see the different patterns. He just has curly eyebrows and wavy scruffs, not random long hair patches like yours. That is so silly and cute 😭💓💓

Okay, that shop vac sounds amazing. Having one at all has totally been a game changer for us too! But this stealth one…. 🤔 I might have to keep it saved if we ever need a new shop vac. I get so overstimulated by the noise
