Never thought I’d be posting in here again but I am in desperate need of advice.
For the past 6 months I have seen this small grey bunny around my area. He has survived polar vortex cold and must be somewhat equipped for life outdoors. I originally thought he must just be a small wild rabbit, but as the seasons have changed he has not. The wild hares here all have white fur.
He hasn’t grown and is small enough to fit in odd places. My heart aches every-time I see him, I am broken up inside over this lil bun who just happens to look identical to my bunny that passed away.
Based on these photos does he look wild to you? Am I over exaggerating this situation? I don’t want to feed him and let prey find him easier. I don’t want to interrupt what is possibly a wild domestic breed. Neither can I ignore him and sleep at night knowing he’s out there in the cold. I’ve tried to see if anyone is missing a pet but have found nothing. Does anyone have any suggestions.
