helppppp. my 5 mo bunny is obsessed with food including cilantro, romaine lettuce, and alfalfa pellets. he also loves the small dried pieces in his alfalfa hay, but when it comes to hay itself he is not the biggest fan. he will eat anything else before he eats his hay. we’ve been experimenting with different hays (he always has unlimited alfalfa) but i swear he goes through phases. sometimes he eats his hay no problem, and now for two days he has been moody about his hay. he stresses me out so bad but i love him so much and just want him to eat properly. i’m already limiting his pellets (i know you aren’t supposed to under 6 months but i read that if they favor their pellets too much then you should limit them) but i don’t know how much i should be limiting them because i know he should still have pellets. he has a nice round belly and is a happy dude but i fear he does not eat enough hay. he poops and pees completely normally.
any help is appreciated. what types of hay do your picky buns like? i feed him oxbow now but ive heard small pet select is great for picky buns.
