Bunny

slight head swaying in new bunny, is this normal?

i recently posted about possibly getting a male bunny to bond with my 9 month old neutered male holland lop and just yesterday we ended up bringing home a 6 month old neutered male mini lop from a family that was rehoming and could no longer care for him properly.

i’ve noticed he seems to frequently slightly sway his head when he sits still. i’m worried this is the beginning of a head tilt but i contacted the people we rehomed him from and they said that he’s always had the head swaying/wobble since they got him at 8 weeks old. the previous owner stated they didn’t realize there was an issue as they weren’t very knowledgeable about rabbits. i’m very concerned and have already contacted the vet but they won’t be able to see us until this thursday and we’re on the urgent list to hopefully be seen tomorrow morning but not guaranteed.

the previous owner also sent me a video of him on supposedly november 6th of him also swaying his head side to side gently. i’m wondering if maybe this is something he’s had since birth and will absolutely be getting checked out as soon as possible or if this could still be a parasite or ear infection that should be seen urgently.

any advice would be appreciated has anyone experienced this as well?
