Hi everyone sorry I haven't been posting much about Rein unfortunately the little princess has been naughty lately but she is scheduled to be spayed in march! 😀 which should help to calm her down but for some updates on how shes doing. She had her very first Christmas (i say first because I highly doubt she ever got to experience it with her previous owner) she even got a little Christmas outfit to wear <3 she got to see some Christmas lights with my family and partner where she was really popular with the little ones :] she got to make friends with a 18 year old little poodle cross shiz zu who absolutely loved her (the old boy doesnt have a bad bone in his body nor does he have teeth but dont worry they were never left unsupervised) he considered her his bestfriend while she didnt really acknowledge his existence haha she has settled in really well the only issues so far have been the heat since I live in a really rural area in Australia it gets between 30-40° often and since we dont have an aircon the bricks warm up and it gets really hot but I have been giving her icecubes which she loves to lay on as well as I mist her down with some water and she lays next to me while the fan blows on us I have ordered her one of those dog cooling mats to hopefully help when my previous rabbit got older and sick I gave her one to help cool her down and she loved it so im hoping Rein will as well if not then it wont go astray ill definitely have it instead haha 🙂 how is everyone else's buns handling heat and what are some suggestions on how to keep our bunnos cool? Personally I find freezing some fruit or pellets into some water to make a giant iceblock really helps keeps my baby cool but in open to more suggestions 🙂 and if anyones interested Rein has a instagram where I post random photos of her being cute if anyones interested in taking a look its Rein_the_mini <3
