Like the title states. I lost my one bunny mid December right before Christmas. Sudden death, she was 3 years old. She stopped eating the morning of and I rushed her to the vet. Vet saw abscess taking up 70% of her chest and crushing her lungs, and they tried to drain it and while they were she arrested.
Fast forward to today, at 2 am, my roommate wakes up to my other 8yr old bunny screaming and then she just collapsed and died. I believe it was GI stasis but I have no idea. I reviewed my Furbo footage and she looked ok but after taking a closer look, I can see she was in mother hen and possibly in pain. I’m not even home. I’m traveling for work (have been since 1/19) and I feel horrible I wasn’t there. I bought the first flight home tomorrow.
I feel like a terrible bun mom. My last bunny, 2-3yr old dwarf is all alone now. His 2 sisters gone a month apart. I don’t know what to do, I’m at a loss for words. Any advice or insight is appreciated.
