So I just saw on another sub, a video about a bun digging around in his bed. There seemed to be other issues. But the consensus was the bun was sad and bored.
Now my Penelope loves to dig. So I covered my bed in fleece blankets and she often digs for like 30-45 minutes and then takes a nap. She sleeps a lot in the morning.
She parties all night, and has taken it upon herself to guard my bedroom door.
I thought the digging around in our bed, was her having fun. She is healthy per the vet, and at her last nail trim, they said she looked so happy.
She is alone around 4 hours per month. She follows me around, and we play a lot.
She has 4 hidey houses, 5 hay stations, 2 litter boxes, 4 beds, and loves to use it all. She eats hay like a champ. But she does sleep during the day.
A bun friend, isn’t an option until our cross continent move. But I really thought she was doing fine.
