So I am very much confused about this situation. I have a feeling this is an episode of stasis and we have been treating it as such but the other symptoms don’t match up. So biggest indicator we have been going on is decreased level of poop. It’s only a small pile that she’ll give us not the full litter box that we are used to. We’ve been covering them up with hay every day to see the output since this has been going on about 4 days. Tummy? Soft, think rabbit-shaped stuffed animal soft. Appetite? Still eating salad, pellets, and she’s not eating hay as much as normal but she is eating it. She is also taking the critical care.. treats also no brainer she’s taking those no questions asked. Water? Drinking maybe a little less than normal but still drinking on her own just fine. Demeanor? Totally normal if not just being a little sweeter and calmer than normal… she even laid in my lap for an extended period of time and she never lays in my lap and I’m not sure if it’s because my blanket is thick and soft and she was just comfortable or if that’s her way of telling me something is wrong. I’ve even been looking up the grimace scale and she’s not grimacing at all. No indication of pain. I am so confused. Why is she not pooping and otherwise being totally fine with literally everything else?
