My rabbit (female, about 7 months old) prefers everything else over her hay. We rescued her from some people at about 2 months that were feeding exclusively pellets and she's having a hard time transitioning.
I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on how to get her to eat more hay. We've tried multiple varieties (Timothy, Alfalfa, Oat, Etc.) and even tried the Small Pet Select Sampler. She'll eat a small bit but does not want it primarily. Her favorite was Alfalfa and she ate a lot of that, but the vet said to wean her off of that as it's low in nutrients for growing rabbits…
