We now have all the results back for Eisa.
She fell very ill on New Years Eve with stasis and then it later transpired that she had pleural effusion (liquid build up under the lungs which put pressure on her lungs making it difficult for her to breathe). She was transferred to the top vets in the country for specialist care (including a chest drain) and investigations and she recovered enough after a few days to come home in the interim.
Thankfully there is no mass in her chest, but she does have a slight enlargement to her heart on the right hand side. But the plueral effusion is looking under control with the diuretics, so she is now on these likely for life 2 x a day and has another check up in a months time.
Her breathing is now normal (on the meds) and she is super happy at home coming out of her shell more and more day by day! Loki and we love her 🥰
She did a little binky yesterday, think she is happy the meds can be reduced from 3x to 2x a day. She is a lovely girl 😊
