As some of you may have seen yesterday I was preparing to adopt a shelter bunny! I have taken the advice and now have him all set up! This is his current enclosure. I have some Amazon boxes from the delivery of his enclosure that I’d like to cut some holes into. Should I be concerned about the tape? Next time I get paid I’ll be having some foraging mats and tunnels on the way but that’s not for another two weeks so I’d like to diy as much as I can! (Who knows maybe I can avoid overconsumption and make some more things for him?) What are your thoughts!? His shelter name was Peralta but I’m not stuck on the name. Hoping his permanent name will come soon. The pink chair is just for when I’m sitting with him. It will be moved when I’m not with him so he has more space! We also got him a mini dog bed that’s not pictured here. So far he’s been adamant on staying inside the cage (he hopped right out the carrier and straight for it) and has been hanging out there since. He’s taken some time to groom himself and he also ate some hay. He also has gone pee and poop and they poops seem healthy! I offered pellets but he didn’t seem too interested but he very adamantly yanked a chew from my hand when I offered 😅 Will be picking up some veggies shortly to have ready for later in the evening.
Oh also we have added another layer about 12” high so the enclosure is even taller now!
