I recently got my bunny and when I found him at the store, he was in a cage that was the size of his litter box now. So I know what I have is a significant improvement, but I wanna make sure that there are no forms of neglect in his care. This is the size of his pen currently. He has different toys that I rotate every week and I also give him hay blocks and applewood sticks to chew. My real anxiety is about the size of the pen (56” x 40”), because I’m not able to give him much free roam time at all, I need to know if this is sufficient. He flops, he does binkies and he’s very affectionate. I don’t see any signs of emotional distress. I took him to the vet and the vet said he “was perfectly healthy and that his enclosure was healthy for him”. I’m just wondering your guys’ opinion on the size of the pen as I don’t personally know anyone who owns a bunny. TikTok is unrealistic and idk if I can trust chatGPT😂
