Bunny

please give us advise, wheelchair for bunny?

Hello everyone, this cutie is Marilin.

Marilin was unwanted by their first owners, so she was brought to our house when she was 4 months old. She is almost 15 years now, so he grew up with us basically. We gave her a pretty good life and we feel she enjoys everyday she is with us.

Since she is very old, she has bad arthritis, and it affected one leg and now the other. She cannot stand on herself or walk anymore, so we have to hold her and keep her clean. Her legs technically function just fine, but she cannot move them since she got lil pebbles in between her spine disks (that's how the vet explained). We give her chondroprotective med daily (vet approved) and med for pain from time since it can affects her sensitive guts (also vet approved). She is old so any surgery will be risky to her.

We just went to the vet today, and despite her affections, the vet told us she is not in pain. She eats and drinks (we have to help her, but still) she has great appetite and love her treats, especially raspberries!!

My sister and I can take care of her all day. I was wondering, since she can still use all her legs, and when we hold her she seems wanting to walk and roam, is there any way we can get her a wheelchair for her? We aren't in a tight spot economically rn, so we are exploring options but are clueless where to look.

We realise she can't be with us forever, but apart from this movement issue she is in great health, we just want to make her life quality better if possible.

Any advise, experience or idea is highly appreciated. Thank you so much from us and Marilin!

(i would like to upload more photos, but reddit doesn't let me, of anyone wants to see her i will be more than happy to share more photos somehow)
