I had a 90oz bag of the oxbow Timothy hay that lasted us a long time. In less than 24 hours, I’ll be driving home with Bean (photo provided for bunny tax) where I will be able to purchase more hay immediately, and have some already at the house. But just now, I gave her the last of that bag because I ran completely out a day early. Is this bad? Can I just give her lots of pellets tomorrow (like 1 cup throughout the day instead of the 1/4 cup a day) to keep her fed? I’m just worried about her starving.
Yes, as for the car ride she will be fine. She actually loves the car oddly enough and plops down on my passenger seat with her stuffy and will groom herself and loaf the whole way (it’s a max of 2.5 hour drive that we do at most once a month and I got her used to the car as a baby since I’m a student 2 states away from home)
