Hi everyone,
I noticed a small bump at the corner of my rabbit’s mouth. The base looks white and the tip is yellow and slightly firm, almost like thick pus coming outward.
He’s still very active, eating normally, and behaving like usual. This appeared within the last 24–36 hours. He did stay at a pet hotel (cats present nearby) for about 36 hours, so I’m wondering if stress could have triggered something underlying.
I’m taking him to an exotic vet shortly, but I wanted to ask:
Does this look consistent with an early rabbit dental abscess or mouth-related infection?
Any experiences or things I should specifically ask the vet would be appreciated. Thanks!
