Rabbit

Is this aggression or is she just bad at grooming

She likes to lick his eyes but sometimes gets too into it and hurts him and then he jumps back and she gets scared and thumps

It’s just grooming. Some bunnies are better at it than others. Every once in a while somebody gets a whisker snagged or something like that and jumps.

They have those lil eye boogers that get groomed away and sometimes they’re tough to remove so the rabbit flinches since it’s so delicate 🥺

My boy does that to my girls eyes too. Bad at grooming for sure.

My girl rabbit does this to our loppy boy to the point she was scraping the inside of his ears and cutting him. We had to pause bonding them because she was so consistent with it and half the time he would let himself be hurt. Look into “barbering” behavior to see if that matches what’s happening.

Oh my goodness your fluffballs are too adorable!

She a little clumsy but you can tell she loves seeing another bunny. The picture of “got the right spirit”

This is just intense grooming, and getting used to each other. They still have to learn each other’s limits. We’ve just bonded two girls, and we see this all the time.

Dora is a very friendly and enthusiastic rabbit, and she’s still quite young. She’s such an energetic clumsy puppy, and twice as large as Molly. Dora’s very thorough in her grooming, and she makes Molly wobble on the spot like one of those tumbler toys.

I have to do a double take sometimes when she is partly hidden behind something: “Is Dora grooming her or is Dora humping her again….?” The rocking looks the same sometimes 🤭

Can I make a reservation for myself for next week please?

  9. My girl who looks just like yours grooms just like this. We recently bonded a boy into the existing pair (now trio) and he’s still not used to it, leaps back every time she gets a bit rough on the eyeballs haha

looks like she’s just being a little bossy with ur other bun. usually they nip like that to get a knot out or if they’re trying to show who’s in charge. as long as no one is getting hurt it’s just bunny drama

my boy never had a bun friend until recently, he was very rough with grooming at first, kinda like this. hes gotten gentler though and the new bun almost never flinches anymore

Awwwww she looks just like my boy toffee

  14. I have a girl that tends to get a bit toothy when grooming. I know, because she has pulled my whiskers while grooming my face. The boy bun flinches whenever she pulls fur or a whisker, too.

She was part of a mass seizure by the RSPCA. She has gotten better at grooming gently over the few months that I have had her.

Random question. Do bunnies jump on and off the couch? Or do you need those steps for pets?
