I have a female rabbit who had GI stasis last night. The vet did two ultrasounds and gave her anti nausea and anti pain shots over the span of two hours. After the second round of shots she started moving more and the ultrasound showed that her stomach was better so we were sent home. I gave her a novalgin shot at 5 and at 9 as prescribed. Now it’s 21 and she is occasionally running around and nibbling on some food (though mainly paper and cardboard) which is way better than last night but she’s also sitting hunched over sometimes and doesn’t eat that much. I’m not sure about droppings as I have another bunny besides her. I’m wondering if I should syringe feed her critical care (which will stress her out) or if I should wait for now? I’m really worried for my baby.
