i’ve had bonnie for almost six weeks and she has only just started thumping yesterday but she’s doing it whenever i’m in the shed. she does it when i’m not looking or talking to her and stops when she gets attention.
sadly we did lose our bunny friend oreo after she had to be put to sleep two days ago and im not really sure if it’s that, i didn’t get to bonding them properly yet but i got bonnie for oreo who needed a new buddy sadly after losing her brother and mum both this year (the latest being a few weeks before i got bonnie). they did take a liking towards each other and i think bonnie is feeling it and has realised oreo is gone 🙁 they were not housed together but were next to each other with half of the shed each. im worried she’s feeling down and i just don’t want my baby feeling abandoned in a way.
she literally has never thumped like this before until yesterday, but she’s doing it often. i’m also worried that by ‘rewarding’ her giving her attention straight away when she does it that she’ll learn it gets her her way and it’ll become a habit. could it be temporary because of oreo or could this be a forever thing now? 😀
