Hello. Please remove if not allowed to post. I’m just wondering if anyone has had this experience. My rabbit has had a bout of stasis so I took him to the ER vet to get him checked out and mentioned he has been annoyed by his ear. They looked and said nothing was wrong with the ear but gave a treatment plan for stasis. The following day I made an appointment with my actual Exotics vet and they gave him a very thorough look over and did blood tests and everything came back fine. I asked about the ear and he said there was nothing for concern. However, it still seems to bother my rabbit and even makes a popping type sound when he shakes or if I rub it at times. I’m attaching a video of that(please excuse the dirty towel. He just finished some critical care). Has anybody had any experience with this? Could it be an ear infection that both vets didn’t catch? I have another check-up on Saturday.
Rabbit is 12yo, neutered male, Netherlands Dwarf with no prior medical issues. We get his annual check-up every year too.
